This helps me to understand a problem I was going to ask about, which is that when I choose "output to File" the file dialog wipes out my GUI window on the screen, making it hard to see what I'm doing. Is it possible that the file dialog could be a movable window, so that when it goes away, the GUI is left intact? Or could the size/location of the file dialog be changed, so they don't overlap? Is this a change you would have to make in code, or can I do it in Resedit? (alternatively, could a screen redraw happen after the file dialog closes but before the program starts its work?) It is intended to give current users a look at the next version of the language in order that I may receive feedback. Much remains to be done. There is no audio, and no GUI and no documentation. Upon startup it compiles the class library in the DefaultLibrary folder (which contains an alias to the Core directory). You can then type in expressions and evaluate them via Evaluate Selection, (command-E) which will evaluate the current selection, or the current line if there is no selection. If you make changes to the class library then you need to recompile it with Recompile Library (command-K). The Run Main menu item (command-R) executes the method Main::run which just runs a bunch of test code. There is a file called TryThese which might get you started with some expressions to evaluate. The files testFile and testFile2 are used when running the tests in Main::run.
