I encounter problems loading the DIGI 001 driver whenever OMS is installed and sees the digi001 midi driver. I went back to using my old midi interface. Is there a way 'round this ? I tried to access the preloadBuffer, but it is a Int8Array and can't be played by PlayBuf. I have very long soundfiles and would like to get just a part into the RAM. BTW is there a function to calculate the remaining free memory? Is there a way 'round this ? > Thanks Hairi Yes - delete the 001 as an interface in your OMS setup, then go to the OMS folder and you will see "Digi 001 OMS Driver" remove this from the OMS folder. So as you say, you need to use another interface for MIDI. I believe DIGI has a fix, which they will be releasing soon. Mostly bug fixes. The vast majority of my effort recently has been going into the next major release. - --- Changes in Version 2.2.8 Clicking with the command key down in a window's title brings up a menu of the folders containing it. Choosing one of these folders will open it in the Finder. MacOS8 fixed all of the readability problems with the Monaco font, obviating the need for the "SuperCollider" font which caused problems of its own since it was a bitmap font. Therefore this version converts all text in SuperCollider font into Monaco upon opening a file. If this conversion occurs then the file will be marked dirty. The new file default font is now Monaco. All of the files distributed with SuperCollider have already been converted. Since the Wacom Graphire tablet is likely to be popular, the default is now for tabletTracking to be true at startup. If you want to turn off the tablet's tracking you can do false.tabletTracking. A bug in double click selecting large sections of text and on selecting on machines with foreign language kits installed was fixed. A bug in MultiTap was fixed. A bug in Revert to Saved was fixed. A bug in File::getLine was fixed. Bugs in some of the Array primitives were fixed. Parsing bug when using keyword arguments in an implicit call to new was fixed.
