i am trying to create a subclass of Density.sc (attached - creates rhythmic patterns and such) that will auto-create its own gui window (of the size indicated at compile time) as well as create instance variables containing the arrays needed to hold instances of Density and the patterns created from those instances. i am having trouble with the *new method for the subclass DensityGUI - in the class Density (which is a subclass of SequenceableCollection) i had to create an instance of Density in the *new method like this: ^super.new.init so that the instance variables would be accessable by an init statement where they are written to. this doesn't work in DensityGUI - i get an error saying that array doesn't understand .new - not sure why or what's going on here really. in any case there is a very small example file attached as well that i think shows what i'm trying to do... any help/comments would be greatly appreciated! Hi I'm sure this question has been asked many times before, but I guess I wasn't paying attention... I'm running 2.2.10 on a system with dididesign hardware, which works fine with pro tools, logic audio, etc. I got the driver from steinberg (the address in the README has changed) and installed it in the ASIO Drivers folder. But SC doesn't see it. The audio panel just shows the Apple Sound Manager. SC has worked before with Digidesign on this system, but it was an earlier version. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
